The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Manager, Regional Marketing Communications.

The Manager, Marketing Communications plays a critical role in supporting the NA commercial organization by collaborating with our NA marketing teams to create effective programs and campaigns that drive commercial growth. The Manager, Marketing Communications works closely with product marketing, global MarCom and business unit leaders to develop regional materials and communications that align with global product strategies and extend consistent messages in a regionally-relevant way to support the NA regional initiatives and goals. Responsible for management, planning, scheduling and budgeting of Marketing Communication (MarCom) projects. product marketing, sales customer engagement, and MarCom to assess the efficacy of materials and monitor performance. This role is also responsible for developing and managing social media strategies and communications for North America, in partnership with the Corporate Communications and global digital teams. As part of the Global Marketing and Corporate Communications team, you will work independently, yet in a highly collaborative manner with internal and external stakeholders.

This role is remote eligible.

The Responsibilities

  • A key member of the GMCC team, involved in developing and managing regional campaigns for assigned lines of business, including planning, creative development, production execution and measurement of campaigns and materials to drive commercial growth.
  • Support internal communications related to assigned product lines of business across all internal channels. i
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns and posts for region, including content development, design oversight, approvals and deployment in alignment with brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Participate in regional event planning, including virtual events, communications and promotion; support sales enablement and marketing to ensure effective and timely lead management.
  • Independently manage large-scale, omni-channel campaigns and programs as assigned.
  • Manage annual media schedules and asset development for distribution partner deliverables.
  • Ensure all regional marketing content and materials align with corporate brand, global BU strategies, legal policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Works closely with BU Marcom, global and regional product marketing to successfully identify business opportunities and develop support tools in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required:

  • BS degree in Communications or Marketing
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in developing and managing product marketing campaigns, including execution and measurement across multiple channels
  • Over 3 years' experience in the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing successful social media campaigns, including platform management
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently while managing multiple projects at once and meeting deadlines
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills
  • Up to 25% travel, which includes airplane, automobile and overnight hotel stays
  • This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship

The Key Working Relationships

Internal Partners:

  • Partnering with the following internal teams to create, manage and deploy internal communications: BU MarCom, BU Product Marketing, Regional Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, Corporate Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Sales Enablement and Training, Sales, Regulatory and Legal

External Partners:

  • Works with agency partners, third-party vendors, commercial partners (distributors, etc.) and industry organizations

The Work Environment

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 60% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 40% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Minimal travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays.
