Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to serve as a research assistant for multiple, externally funded research studies at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities ( CIDD) at the UNC School of Medicine. The person in this position will be responsible for data management and organization, data analysis and visualization, and collaborating with a team of experts in neurodevelopmental disorders.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to gather data and accurately document procedures.
- Ability to plan work and coordinate multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Experience working in a clinical research setting.
- Training in neuroscience, human neuroimaging, and/or developmental psychology.
