Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site for our client in Geneva, OH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Packages, stores, pulls, and ships completed units and raw materials for delivery to customers and other AE sites.
• Interfaces with other departments and freight carriers regularly.
• Performs receiving duties.
• Packages finished goods, repaired units, and raw materials according to specifications and ensures they are shipped in a timely manner.
• Ensures materials are received daily, both physically and electronically, in SAP.
• Inspects received goods against the invoice, noting discrepancies or damage.
• Ensures data accuracy and compliance with AES Direct.
• Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• Ensures materials are prepared and shipped as per the production/repair schedule.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Performs all necessary electronic transactions in SAP, freight carrier systems, and government agency websites.
• Orders packaging material as needed.
• Interfaces with Sales, Planning, and other areas to ensure needs are met and to help resolve problems.
• Interfaces with freight carriers to schedule pick-ups and track shipments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $19 - $21/hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of shipping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing carrier computer systems.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with operating computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in ESD practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Receiving experience.
• The ability to learn new software applications.
• Attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements.
• Ability to work on a team and focus on satisfying customer needs.
• Ability to multitask and perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Lifts heavy items.
• Primarily works in a shipping/warehouse area, which is fast-paced and may be noisy.
• Regularly needed to perform heavy lifting.
