Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PC Technician to support IT warehouse operations and hardware deployment activities in Waukegan, IL. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in IT support and logistics, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple responsibilities related to hardware fulfillment, inventory control, and equipment recovery. Key Responsibilities * Fulfill IT hardware requests submitted through ServiceNow, including packaging and shipping equipment. * Receive and check in incoming hardware inventory; maintain accurate records in SAP. * Update asset tracking systems for received, deployed, and returned IT equipment. * Coordinate equipment recovery efforts, including pickup of computers, mobile devices, and peripherals from onsite locations. * Communicate with managers of offboarded employees to facilitate equipment returns. * Prepare and send shipping boxes and FedEx return labels for remote users. * Process incoming returned equipment, ensuring compliance with data retention and sanitization policies. * Deploy computer peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, and other accessories. * Image computers and prepare them for deployment using standard IT procedures. Required Skills * Proficiency with Windows 10/11, computer hardware and software troubleshooting. * Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system. * Experience handling and deploying peripheral equipment. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to manage inventory and update systems such as SAP. Preferred Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or stockroom operations. * Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support roles such as Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Hardware Fulfillment. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and follow-up skills. * Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
