Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for proactively leading both strategic and daily execution of HR activities for office and professional teams, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, finance, and other professional departments.

This role supports the designated client leadership teams to influence the overall operations and contribute to successful business outcomes, with a focus on positively impacting employee engagement, supporting organizational goals, and ensuring alignment of people strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Partners with department leaders to develop HR strategies that support business objectives, workforce planning, and cultural alignment. Serves as a coach and advisor for organizational design and change initiatives.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Supports career development and succession planning by partnering with Learning & Development (L&D) teams. Uses data-driven insights to enhance team capabilities and business performance.

Employee Relations & Performance:

  • Handles employee relations issues, mediates conflicts, and ensures legal and policy compliance. Guides managers in performance improvement and coaching processes.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Co-develops recruitment strategies for salaried roles and supports employer branding and talent attraction efforts in coordination with recruiters and hiring managers.

Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs):

  • Liaises between business leaders and internal HR teams (e.g., talent acquisition, L&D, compensation) to implement effective programs and solutions.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensures consistent application of HR policies and compliance with state and federal laws, while supporting corporate HR initiatives and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's in HR, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

  • At least 5 years in an HRBP role including experience with Sales teams.
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.

Certifications:

  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Workday a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment law and ability to balance strategic and operational HR responsibilities.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $105,000
