Position Title: Production
Wage: $17.50 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 5:00am-3:30pm; 3:30pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Production position available at a company in Wilton, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd position with the opportunity for hire. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist in the production of steel parts. - Operate machines to cut, shear, punch, and bend steel. - Use machine and tools to measure and cut hoses to appropriate length. - Use calipers to measure pieces and ensure they meet specifications and check completed work pieces for defects. - Use overhead crane to move product to and from shipping and receiving area. *Training Provided* - Use punch press to put holes in steel according to customer specifications, aka prints. - Operate robotic welding stations - Use mallet to straighten parts. - Use grinder to deburr parts. - Use air compressor to clean off parts. Production Requirements: - Must be able to stand for entire shift. - Must be able to bend, kneel, and crouch repetitively throughout shift. - Must be able to lift 30lbs repetitively throughout shift. - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout shift. - Must be able to grasp, pinch, and finger product repetitively throughout shift. - Must be able to do repetitive hand-eye work throughout shift. -Production experience preferred. - Must be able to read/write English. - Must be able to read a tape measure--calipers preferred but will train to do both. davenport@qpsemployment.com IND065 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
