Job Purpose The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Knowledge of quality and safety standards, warehouse procedures and company policy. 2. Fork truck and scissor lift safety and operations. 3.Provide supplies, request materials, request support, input into ERP system (via handheld scanner and desktop computer access), communicate with plant leadership (Team Leads, Line leads, Dept. supervisors, etc.). 4. Maintain training level as required. 5. Conduct oneself in a safe and constructive manner to maintain a safe work environment. 6. Have a basic knowledge of inbound and outbound paperwork and truck loading and unloading. 7. Completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands. This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements.
