Assistant Manager Trend and Incubation Marketing

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Responsible for supporting Culture Marketing category activities in regard to key product plans - connecting brand partners, network, and product placement to marketing tactics, moments and activations. Provide and ensure effective communication flow between all Culture Marketing partners, network and seeding teams and cross-functional marketing/demand creation teams. Assure relevant brand activity with artists and people of influence within Music, Film/TV, Fashion, and Streetwear/Lifestyle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist on Culture Marketing framework and build relevant incubation plans for brand and network partners, product seeding and trend marketing to drive demand for key product priorities.
  • Coordinate and take a proactive approach connecting artists and people of influence to moments, events, and product placements.
  • Attend entertainment events and industry meetings for networking, when relevant.
  • Build relationships with external Culture Marketing contacts while keeping adidas objectives a top priority.
  • Support in implementing strategic product plans in conjunction with category and PR/Marketing counterparts
  • Interact with go to market, brand marketing, public relations, event marketing and product creation teams as needed to execute plans. Support all aspects of the execution plan.
  • Identify opportunities to connect artists and people of influence to the brand through moments, content creation, activations, campaigns, product placement, seeding, etc.
  • Support Culture Marketing integration through strategic placement and targeting of specific brand and product initiatives.
  • Review and select programming for involvement, assure timely product fulfilment, and obtain placement documentation for internal reporting.
  • Leverage marketing integration to drive key commercial opportunities at wholesale, retail, etc
  • Participate and represent Culture Marketing team in seasonal projects, workstreams, milestones, and bottoms up initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of music, fashion, streetwear/lifestyle, etc within Culture Marketing industry, trends and activities.
  • Manage product order entry for Incubation team and wider Trend Marketing team

  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Utilize good judgement and professionalism at all times
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, time management and resolution skills
  • Unconventional business hours may be required. (evenings, weekends)


REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Four year college or university degree in Marketing, advertising or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.

The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $74,744 - $95,000. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.

We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Los Angeles, California.

Though our teammates hail from all corners of the world, our working language is English.
