Credence has an immediate need for a Field Integration Manager at the senior level that will plan and manage fielding activity required to integrate mission equipment packages into tactical vehicles in support of the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program. The PM PNT program provides administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army director PNT systems. The SETA services provided to PM PNT shall support the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army's PNT portfolio. PM PNT provides coordinated PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army's mounted and dismounted platforms. PM PNT is the Army's lifecycle manager for the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS), Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS), Assured Protection and ALTNAV Technology Development; and the Resiliency and Software Assurance Measures (RSAM), as well as any future PNT efforts in both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
Salary Range
Full pay range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 per year, with the starting wage determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
Responsible for joint planning, execution, reporting, and improvement objectives related to Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Systems (MAPS) GEN II and DME New Equipment Fielding (NEF)
Equipment Training (NET).
- Coordinate with PM PNT Product Support team, PM PNT Integration Team, gaining command, and other stakeholders to complete all required Total Package Fielding documentation and coordination meetings in accordance with DA PAM 770-2.
- Synchronize NEF preparation efforts between Integration, Logistics, Training, the gaining command, and external stakeholders required for successful NEF.
- Coordinate with gaining command to verify platform availability and schedule fielding activities during modernization windows or alternate command approved timeline.
- Update and inform Integrated Master Schedule with NEF plans and execution updates.
- Verify A-Kit TDP and MWO readiness, initiate and track A-Kit production and deliver IAW Integrated Master Schedule. Maintain oversight of total available A-Kits by platform type and coordinate with the integration team to proactively place orders as necessary for future fielding objectives.
- Coordinate with platform OEM's to ensure contracts are in place for platform installation teams.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure shipments of A and B-kits align to joint inventory and property book transfer timelines preceding NEF.
- Conduct Site Survey's to verify information required for Integration, Logistics, Training activities, and Vehicle Readiness. Identify Points of Contact, facilities, storage and installation bays, training classrooms, transportation and material handling support, and verify platform quantities and readiness for installation,
- Field Installations: On site support during the installation of prefabricated kits (displays, GPS antennas, mounts, brackets) into host platforms, including tactical vehicles, and provide on-site troubleshooting and assistance. Document integration and fielding challenges, develop After Action Reports and follow up with list of required actions to correct discrepancies and continuously improve fielding events.
- Collaboration with Teams (Stakeholder Communication): Work closely with the systems engineering team, product teams, and platform integration experts to validate and verify integration activities and system performance during NEF. Communicate information back to the unit.
- Facilities coordination meetings, briefings, and status updates.
- Fielding Documentation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, fielding policies, and reporting requirements (e.g., DA PAM 700-142 or AR 700-142)
- Equipment Accountability and Handoff: Assist in transfer of equipment from program office to unit.
- Ensure proper inventory, serial numbers, and documentation are accounted for A-kits and B-kits.
- Oversight of signature of issuance documents (DA form 1348), component hand receipts, and Material Fielding Agreements.
- Site preparation & logistics: Verifies the receiving units have the necessary infrastructure, power, space, or facilities. Coordinates delivery logistics for shipping, staging, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- System Testing & Validation: Participate in system-level testing, validation, and verification efforts to ensure that PNT systems perform as expected when installed on host platforms, ensuring compliance with performance requirements.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshooting issues with integrated systems, providing immediate solutions in the field, and escalating to senior engineers when necessary.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and anticipating issues by working closely with units to gather feedback, assess operational compatibility, and identify potential challenges before widespread deployment of new equipment.
- Act as liaison between acquisition logistics team, logistics, training commands, and operational units to resolve miscommunication and ensure smooth integration.
- Managing Deployment Logistics: Solves logistical issues by organizing schedules, transportation, storage, and hand-off procedures, ensuring everything arrives on time in good condition.
- Risk Management: Identifies risks early (e.g. lack of spare parts, software bugs), initiates mitigation plans, and ensures that operational capability isn't compromised and operational impact reports. Provide input into system updates or future fielding improvements.
- Field Demonstrations: Support technology demonstrations in operational environments, ensuring that all systems are performing optimally and meeting the required specifications and coordinating response or troubleshooting with systems engineers or FSR's where systems are not performing as expected.
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all integration efforts align with industry standards, government regulations, and PM PNT requirements for system integration and testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Attend integrated product teams (IPTs), working group meetings, and program reviews to provide input on fielding activities, challenges, and solutions.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a top secret clearance.
Must hold a bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of applicable experience, twelve (12) years of experience could be substituted for a degree. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain responsibility for a significant number of tasks and documentation, prioritizing time between current fielding, future fielding plans, post fielding analysis and improvement objectives. Microsoft office suite expertise: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams. Excellent briefings skills. Ability to organize slide decks using Microsoft PowerPoint and present plans to senior leadership. Experience with DoD forms and processes related to U.S. Army Total Package fielding requirements for a program of record. Knowledge of US Army Wheeled and Track vehicle platforms preferred. Project management experience preferred. Ability to organize cross functional teams to plan and execute mission requirements.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
