Staffmark is hiring a skilled Inventory Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Independence, LA. Pay and Hours:

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Overtime: Voluntary unless operations require it

What You'll Be Doing:

• Receive, inspect, unload, and log inbound waste shipments
• Prepare and load outbound waste shipments following standard procedures
• Compare invoices/inventory slips to deliveries and distribute them to appropriate departments
• Conduct quality checks and maintain documentation for compliance
• Log inbound and outbound container data into the system
• Ensure labeling and placarding compliance
• Support with spill containment and general warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all regulatory standards

Requirements:

• 1 year of inventory or warehouse experience required
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Steel-toed boots are required; must be clean-shaven daily
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certification preferred
