Compensation Range: $24.11 to $28.36/hour, based on experience.

Job Objective:

This will be a part-time job that will assist the THQ Marketing & Communications Department with the territorial social media platforms including the development of content and assets that can also be utilized by divisional and corps teams, back-end support, and internal/field training. Special emphasis will be placed on engaging with a younger social media audience, focusing on creating authentic, visually appealing and interactive content that resonates with their values and preferred platforms.

Essential Functions:



  • Develop and manage compelling content tailored to platform and audience.
  • Coordinate and execute social media campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor trends and adjust content strategy accordingly.
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement.
  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Generate ideas, create, and post content to different social media platforms.
  • Plan, create and adhere to content calendars.
  • Coordinate photography, asset development and video production appropriate for social media.
  • Assist with back-end trouble shooting on different platforms.
  • Assist with internal/field training support.


Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social media or other related field



Experience:



  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts in a professional setting
  • Demonstrated ability to craft platform-specific content, especially for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Familiarity with brand voice, audience targeting and goal-based content planning
  • Proficiency with video editing, photography, and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut)
  • Strong writing skills with an eye for storytelling and engagement
  • Able to work independently, manager priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite) is a plus


OR: Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with Marketing Communications members
  • Understanding of protocol and office decorum
  • Ability to meet deadlines
