Maintenance Supervisor

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Be responsible for oversight of all maintenance activities for manufacturing teams to optimally operate production machinery, fleet equipment and facilities. Supervise Maintenance Technicians who complete these maintenance tasks.
  • Establish priorities for repairs based on safety concerns, risk of damage, or potential loss of business revenue.
  • Train and supervise team members, so they are able to perform their job duties safely and efficiently.
  • Perform hands-on labor tasks such as electrical work, plumbing repairs, and painting.
  • Run and set up schedules for various Total Productive Maintenance activities so that uptime of production machinery and fleet equipment (Service Trucks, Forklifts, Scissor Lifts) is optimal.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities performed by team members or contracted outside companies.
  • Review service requests from tenants in order to determine repairs that are needed appropriate timeline.
  • Follow up with contractors to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor the budget and make adjustments as needed to ensure costs stay within budget.
YOU HAVE:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years proven experience working in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, maintaining production machinery, fleet equipment and facilities.
  • 2+ years' experience supervising and leading maintenance team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, procedure manuals, and technical documents.
  • Electrical knowledge and experience preferred; license not required.
  • Experience working on a computer, using Microsoft Office and using an ERP system (ideally, Epicor) to track tickets and close work orders.
  • Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: regularly walk and stand, lift up to 50 lbs., use hands and fingers to handle tools and controls, reach with hands and arms, squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head and reach forward. Ability and willingness to frequently climb ladders.
