Mortgage Loan Specialist Function * Review and process loan applications while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines * Evaluate credit conditions, DTI (Debt-to-Income), and LTV (Loan-to-Value) ratios * Rework applications to satisfy loan conditions and regulatory requirements Core Responsibilities * Perform data entry, document validation, and initiate third-party orders (title, appraisal, credit, etc.) * Handle routine client communications via calls, emails, and chats * Distribute workloads and monitor queues for timely processing * Work with various departments to resolve issues and maintain workflow * Specialize in income calculation across financial, rental, business, and military categories Qualifications & Skills * Strong understanding of loan origination, debt ratios, and mortgage processes * Excellent analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets * Prior experience in finance or mortgage industry is a plus * Effective written and oral communication; team-oriented yet independent Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
