The Regional Manager, Machine Safety Standards provides machine safety and specialist support to all Business Unit locations within their Region, assists the Site TMSS Coordinators and Plants' Leadership in identifying and managing machine safety and technical improvement projects, training and managing performance-tracking tools (EHS databases), conducting machine safety compliance audits, following the TMSS assessment protocol and assuring accurate and complete reporting of metrics. The incumbent provides support in the investigation of EHS Events within the Region, communication of regulatory requirements, providing necessary support to EHS high risk programs and supporting local EHS site leads in technical aspects. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provides process support for high-risk programs within the Region including defining the need for training, supporting machine safety assessments and providing expert support in machine safety system design. EDUCATION: 4-year degree (or equivalent by experience) in a technical / electrical / electronic discipline. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * 7+ years of experience with an emphasis on safety program management / maintenance / design.
