The Position
As a member of the bank's team, this position is expected to lead by example, embody these values, and foster a culture of good character, excellence, collaboration, and performance - ensuring our people, clients, and community experience the FSBU difference every day. You are also expected to always foster and promote the Institution's image and brand.

Operator:
Receives and relays incoming telephone calls for First State Bank of Uvalde. Provides directory information to inquirers and transfers calls, as appropriate. Provides Account Services support as required.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
  • Operates switchboard and routes incoming calls to appropriate departments.
  • Performs various duties as required, including logging and routing returned mail, forwarding incoming faxes, scanning and preparation of documents upon request.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of telephone consoles and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
  • Clerical and basic office skills
