Contingent requirements: Minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week schedule period Maximum of 96 hours prescheduled in a 6-week period Shifts are 12 hours in length Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday 1500 - Monday 0730) Must work at least 1 summer and 1 winter holiday Summer: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day Winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's Day Will also work one of the following shifts: Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, or the Day after Christmas General Summary: Performs basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities: Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. Assists in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion. Removes visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate. Records all observations. Requirements: High School diploma equivalency 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
