Staff Product Manager

We have an opportunity for a Staff Product Managerto join our Product Management team, based anywhere in the U.S.,reporting to the director of Product Management.In this pivotal role, you will define the roadmap and ensure the successful delivery of licensing of DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) software. Collaborating closely with customers, Sales, and partners, you will conduct market research and prioritize and define requirements for Engineering to bring products to market. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced, collaborative team to make a significant impact on the DDI market, and there is plenty of opportunity for managerial and technical growth.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do



  • Define and drive licensing requirements for Infoblox DDI physical/virtual appliances and DDI+ value added services
  • Partner with Engineering and drive decisions on feature/cost trade-off, ROI, and impact on the customer experience
  • Manage the licensing aspects for on-prem and public marketplaces, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
  • Work closely with other product managers to ensure licensing models address necessary aspects for the portfolio
  • Collaborate with Product and Technical Marketing functions in the development of data sheets, presentations, product positioning statements, sales training, competitive analysis, and FAQs
  • Manage the planning and communication of new licensing models, migration from the existing models, and necessary tools to support adoption
  • Develop business cases for new concepts, including opportunity size, financial impact, market share, cost of sales, and profitability expectations
  • Lead beta and customer evaluation programs


Be Prepared - What You Bring



  • 10-12 years of product management experience with at least 8 years of experience in networking products
  • Software licensing or cloud licensing experience is required
  • Solid knowledge of physical/virtual appliances based on VMware, KVM, AWS, and Azure
  • Experience with network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and SCP is a plus
  • Ability to identify and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements
  • Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver features
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with partners, customers, and sales teams, particularly in difficult or challenging situations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering required; MBA preferred
