Overview

As a Business Manager for Operations & Globalization, you will lead a team with a pivotal role in supporting Esri's global business functions. You will oversee cloud service operations, contractor support, product lifecycle documentation, and global business processes. You will also coordinate with others on globalization initiatives including Accessibility, Localization, Internationalization, and Nationalization to ensure our products meet the diverse needs of global markets, users, and partners.

Responsibilities

Business Operations:



  • Support Product Management, Software Engineering, Solutions, and Global R&D teams across multiple regions
  • Oversee cloud account usage and cost analysis, providing strategic recommendations for optimization
  • Lead contractor onboarding and separation processes and manage operational support for non-Esri personnel
  • Administer and track Non-Esri Partner Program participants and related WBS# allocations and usage
  • Manage documentation processes related to product releases and lifecycle updates
  • Develop, monitor, and manage Annual Spend Plans in alignment with organizational goals


Globalization Program:



  • Manage cross-functional globalization initiatives across Accessibility, Localization, Internationalization, and Nationalization
  • Identify new global business opportunities and support regional product strategies
  • Collaborate with client services, translation services, internationalizations, accessibility, marketing, and international distributors to integrate customer feedback into global product planning
  • Support scalability and compliance of Esri's products for international markets


Requirements



  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, globalization, or cloud management roles
  • Experience mentoring, motivating, and leading a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in cost modeling, negotiation, and business planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse, global teams
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Management, or related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Experience in the software or technology sector, particularly with cloud platforms
  • Multilingual abilities to support localization and international collaboration
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) or equivalent experience
  • Master's in Business Administration or a related discipline

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$112,320 $187,200 USD
