Acentra Health is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

• Maintains, adapts, and updates existing systems to meet user requirements and to enhance program efficiency. Research and documents user requirements and system specifications.
• Designs and develops program logic addressing specific programming needs. Translates business requirements and functional specifications into detailed system and program design specifications. Assumes responsibility for program design.
• Modifies and documents new and existing program code to fix defects and to enhance a program's capabilities. Creates/troubleshoots program code for the existing applications using Acentra Health selected software development tools.
• Prepares lifecycle documentation for newly created and existing software programs including changes that reflect new user requirements and fix defects discovered after the go live.
• Prepares reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software for use by computer equipment suppliers, systems designers, other programmers, and computer operators.
• Test programs, new and existing, to ensure they perform as expected. Helps develop, document, and implement system designs, codes, and testing standards. Analyzes proposed changes at a system level and recommends designs and solutions that minimize impact to interfacing systems while maximizing code re-usability and maintaining business value.
• Works in coordination with other senior development staff on larger projects, completing gap analysis and analyzing the impact of system software.
• Develop code in accordance with the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision.
• Perform unit testing for the developed code, create test data and scripts to support testing and participate in code review sessions.
• Respond to all support ticket requests within the time frame outlined in applicable Service Level Agreements
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle platforms i.e PL/SQL
• Experience in client-side design and development with HTML, Java, JSP, Javascript, JQuery, Webservices, NET, and PHP
• Excellent knowledge in Relational Databases preferably in Oracle and experience in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with software and database architectural techniques and high-level design using UML or similar representational modeling and design techniques
• Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate with a variety of teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Cloud technologies. Ideally, AWS cloud is highly desired
• Experience with Drupal content management system is preferred
