About the Role

We are looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our Greater Washington team supporting our offices in Puyallup and Seattle. This position offers flexible, hybrid work arrangements with opportunities to work from home and collaborate in-person at our Puyallup and Seattle offices. You will be joining a dedicated & well-established team of transportation professionals with access to mentorship, career development and engaging project work.

As a Transportation Engineer you will contribute to the design and delivery of multidisciplinary transportation projects, with a focus on roadways, corridors, intersections, roundabouts and trails. You will support projects for a diverse set of clients, including local agencies, state departments of transportation (DOT) an tribal governments.

We are committed to providing a well-rounded, professional experience including exposure to a variety of projects, ongoing learning opportunities and support for professional licensure.

You Will:

• Assist in the development and preparation of transportation design plans, specifications and estimates.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support project managers with key design tasks, client coordination and project delivery.

You Have:

• BSCE and 1 year of experience in transportation or civil engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain preferred.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or Civil 3d preferred.

Compensation Information: Hourly rate for this position is $36-$37.50 depending on qualifications.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
