Sigma Defense is seeking a Project Manager possessing experience with the design, development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of C5ISR systems to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of direct work experience with C5ISR systems.
  • 8+ years of direct experience with the design, development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of C5ISR systems.
  • 4+ years as manager of RF communications and/or communications networks with experience supervising project personnel, scheduling work, writing proposals, preparing bids, and equipment and material logistics control.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding the fundamentals of C5ISR systems.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

  • Direct and provide leadership to contractor and sub-contractor teams working with Local, State, or Federal government programs in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements.
  • Oversee teams, field subject matter experts, specialists, and engineers.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status and reviewing contractual obligations.
  • Provide test and evaluation support services to the government for the monitoring and conducting of tests, evaluations, and studies, and the preparation of test plans for specified SOCS and C5ISR systems, subsystems, and/or equipment.
  • Oversee teams and projects related to radio frequency communication systems.
  • Supply chain management.
  • Schedule and document property transfer of equipment.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually.
