YOUR ROLE:

The Senior Experience Analyst leverages a keen interest in CRM, a strong technical background and experience working with large datasets to generate actionable insights that improve the current marketing and communication programs and associated customer journey. The analyst works with multidisciplinary teams to define solutions at the intersection of strategy, technology, culture and channel.

This position partners closely with the Account and Strategy teams to create and communicate opportunities which enhance the customer experience, drive increased engagement and provide higher return on campaigns.

The Senior Experience Analyst has the ability to work with Marketing Sciences management to make critical, real-time adjustments to communications strategies. This individual is expected to continuously seek out, learn about and actively use new marketing channels, technologies, tools and methods and be able to apply this experience to innovate solutions aligned with client objectives. Resourcefulness, curiosity, passion and fearlessness are required traits.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Examines data that facilitates opportunities and insights within the customer journey, including but not limited to paths to HVAs and understanding drop-off rates through the conversion funnel
  • Analyzes large datasets, typically of multichannel marketing campaigns to tease out insights and identify performance drivers. This analysis includes channels associated with lower-funnel marketing and communications (e.g., email, SMS and contact center) but may also involve elements of the mid- and upper-funnel such as website data (UX, SEO), digital media (display banners, paid search, social media), and/or offline media (TV, print) as inputs to CRM programs
  • Creates client outputs including monthly dashboards, quarterly deep-dive reports, as well as other ad hoc and campaign specific analysis
  • Develops data-driven hypothesis on performance of marketing assets for review and interpretation, for eventual presentation to client
  • Ties campaign engagement to tangible business outcomes for ROI calculation
  • Works closely with the broader Marketing Science team to improve data fidelity, availability and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborates across the enterprise, partnering with members of the Strategy, Enablement, Technology and Data Science teams.
  • Drives efficiencies and standardization by automating data processing workflows
  • Provides for critical QA/QC function across all data-driven endeavors - thereby ensuring maximum impact from our analysis and minimum chance for erroneous conclusions
  • Contributes to workflow efficiency improvements and more effective ideation by cultivating new learning tools, sources and resources


REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Math/ Statistics, Finance, Marketing Research, Planning, Social Science or other related degree.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of analytical marketing experience or similar
  • Hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data for analysis
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, R, Perl) a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint to help interpret the data and present a story to clients
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Datorama or similar dashboarding tools preferred
  • Be imaginative and have a practical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to garner insights from large, raw data sets
  • A self-starter with a good work ethic, capable of building good working relationships with clients as well as other team members
  • Ability to co-create a solution by working with cross-functional teams

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
