Material Finance Analyst

Summary:

The Material Cost Analyst owns visibility and accuracy of material-related financial data, ensuring material costs are tracked, forecasted, and aligned to program needs. This role provides critical input for both budgeting and cost control across multiple manufacturing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track material budgets by program and cost center
• Submit material cost summaries and provide reports to finance
• Support generation of reports related to shipping, receipts, and discrepancy resolution
• Analyze actual vs forecast for PO spend and program material usage
• Provide forward cost forecasting to the finance team
• Generate material cost charts and metrics for IPTs and factory reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, operations, or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in cost analysis, supply chain finance, or project controls
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience with EAC modeling preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing operations
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-mix manufacturing
• Power BI, Tableau, or SQL knowledge
• Familiarity with AS9100, FAR/DFARS material reporting
