Posting Summary
The Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites applications for a tenure-track position in clinically based translational auditory research to begin on or before July 1, 2025. We especially welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds performing outstanding research at the intersection of hearing loss, physiology, and behavior in rodent models. Applicants should have postdoctoral experience and independent NIH funding, such as R01 grants. The tenure track rank will be at associate professor. Applicants will be evaluated on their potential to establish a prominent, highly collaborative, externally funded research program focused on the investigation of the neural circuits underlying sensorimotor learning, focusing on how context influences learning and the expression of knowledge. Applicants should provide a cover letter, CV, research statement, and a description of their commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive academic community.
