TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.

U.S. citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that all issues are identified before the product goes live. Analyzes and tests software (cloud and/or in-house) to ensure that products meet design specifications and standards. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements. Tests any new software to ensure functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
  • Creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Performing functional testing of the system
  • Supporting users with application training and technical support


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:



  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working as a member of an agile software development team
  • Understanding of the basic principles of system analysis and quality assurance
  • Comfort collaborating with developers and other analysts to define system needs
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Understanding of iterative systems development lifecycle and documentation
  • Clear communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:



  • Demonstrates an ability to learn and contribute quickly to project requirements
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a customer service-orientated personality


EDUCATION:



  • Bachelors' degree in a related discipline preferred

Internal title/grade: Quality Assurance Engineer, E1
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education, as well as, a criminal and DMV check.

Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
