A background spanning 16+ years in engineering and IT architecture is imperative, underscoring experience in the design, implementation, and management of intricate IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust history of integrating AI-driven solutions within enterprise environments, ensuring seamless interoperability while upholding stringent security standards.

  • A deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture (exchange, Sharepoint, and Copilot), and engineering, including M365 Copilot and other AI-powered services.
  • Expertise in cloud computing, particularly Azure, with a focus on governance, compliance, and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in implementing AI and machine learning models tailored to business needs.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver AI-integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to AI-driven automation and data management.

  • Architect and deliver comprehensive M365 solutions (two or more products), including M365 Copilot, ensuring integration aligns with business goals and leverages AI capabilities effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of AI and machine learning models tailored to enhance business operations within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Develop and enforce governance, compliance, and security protocols M365 products, ensuring robust protection of data and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimal utilization of AI-powered automation features within the M365 suite, focusing on streamlining manual processes for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and support of M365 services, adhering to Microsoft's roadmap and enterprise objectives.
  • Collaborate with CSO (Chief Security Officer) and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) teams to ensure alignment on security aspects, integrating comprehensive security strategies into AI and machine learning models.
  • Provide expert guidance in prompt engineering to maximize user adoption and benefit from AI tools within the M365 suite.
  • Build long and short term technical roadmap in alignment with the product vendors, proactively test features or updates and plan for production release in a timely manner.
  • Own business demand and follow a controlled approach for release to production.
  • Oversee change, communication and release management processes for both on-premises and cloud-hosted services, ensuring compliant and efficient transitions into the production environment.
  • Apply strong business acumen to collaborate with leadership, define budgets, forecast needs, and manage services effectively to support enterprise goals.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder management, communicating progress and status of platform delivery to GSK business stakeholders.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of M365 Technical Architect role (Most recent /ongoing)
  • 10+ years of engineering experience including M365 product suite.
  • 10+ years owning and driving strategic initiatives in the M365 space.
  • 10+ years in managing business stakeholders, demand gathering and delivering tangible outcomes for business.
  • Experience in architecting and delivering comprehensive M365 solutions, including M365 Copilot, with a focus on AI integration.
  • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of AI and machine learning models to enhance business operations in the M365 ecosystem.
  • Strong background in developing and enforcing governance, compliance, and security protocols for Azure cloud services.
  • Expertise in driving continuous improvement and optimal utilization of AI-powered automation features within the M365 suite.
  • Have experience in collaboration with cross-functional and specialized teams, including Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Security, Operations.
  • Proficiency in providing expert guidance in prompt engineering to maximize user adoption and benefit from AI tools within the M365 suite.
  • Experience overseeing change and release management processes for both on-premises and cloud-hosted services.
  • Prior experience in collaboration with leadership, define budgets, forecast needs, and manage services effectively to support enterprise goals

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Extensive experience in overseeing strategic initiatives and delivering comprehensive solutions within the M365 environment.
  • Robust understanding of strong interest in AI-powered services (e.g., M365 Copilot).
  • Strong background in governance, compliance, and security protocols for Azure cloud services.
  • Expertise in optimizing AI-powered automation features within the M365 suite.
  • Ability to provide expert guidance in prompt engineering and manage change and release processes.
  • Excellent business acumen to work closely with leadership, define budgets, and forecast needs.
  • Experience in running systems with a thorough understanding of security, network, and record retention requirements.
  • Experience in managing automation workflows across M365 services
