Position Overview

The Senior Employee Relations Partner is responsible for coordinating program planning and implementation, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, and supporting various special projects by collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive program effectiveness and deliver strategic recommendations for continuous improvement. This role aligns organizational strategies, goals, and priorities with the mission and values of the organization by encouraging the use of innovative resources, tools, and practices to positively change organizational beliefs, attitudes, operating models, and structures. This helps the organization adapt to new technologies, markets, and challenges while fulfilling its vision and mission.

Essential Duties

  • Collaborates as a hands-on strategic People and Culture Partner who develops a thorough understanding of the business and ensures alignment of strategies and programs to the broader organizational goals, ensuring effective inclusion of key people and culture considerations.
  • Provide expert and informed analysis and strategic advice to ongoing operations and expected decisions.
  • Serve as counselor and or advocate to employees and leaders regarding company policies, employee performance, culture/work environment and other issues; resolve conflicts effectively while minimizing legal exposure. Proactively monitor the work environment to identify and address trends and areas of improvement to increase employee engagement and retention. Address critical action items.
  • Support project-based work on business-critical strategic imperatives from a People and Culture perspective by developing strategic plans for People & Culture related programs, including creating project plans, timelines, and budgets for program implementation and coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. Monitor program effectiveness, collect feedback, and make data- driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with legal counsel when necessary. Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to People and Culture issues and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience and
  • 5 years of experience in the realm of HR and employee relations.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

To keep our colleagues, members, and communities safe, OCHIN requires all employees-including remote employees, contractors, interns, and new hires-to be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, as supported by state and federal public health officials, as a condition of employment. All new hires are required to provide proof of full vaccination or receive approval for a medical or religious exemption before their hire date.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint (min-$81,669 mid-$106,170), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
