Tank Wash Technician

Staffmark is hiring a Tank Wash Technician in Scott, LA! Join a company committed to sustainability and innovation in chemical container production. Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate wash equipment, including sprayers, spinners, tote bin washers, and hoists
• Ensure proper chemical wash concentration and maintain chemical inventory
• Set up, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on wash line equipment
• Follow all safety and cleaning procedures to maintain high quality standards
• Accurately document wash processes and communicate with supervisors
• Handle and maneuver containers and equipment manually and with lifting devices
• Use ladders and other tools to access and clean tanks
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• 2-3 years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Current forklift certification
• Ability to read and follow procedures, blueprints, and spec sheets
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions
• Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, noisy environment
