Job Title: Operations Support / Research Subject Assistant Duration: 1 year (Possible extension) Location: Onsite - North Chicago, Illinois, 60030 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Position Summary Research Subject Assistant plays a key role in supporting non-clinical operations within a clinical research facility. This position ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment for study subjects and assists with various logistical and operational tasks across the site. Key Responsibilities Inspect subject rooms to confirm removal of all personal belongings and used bed linens. Escort study participants to approved locations within the 20,000 sq. ft., two-story facility. Transport biological samples between internal laboratories. Screen personal belongings for contraband and secure luggage in designated storage areas. Oversee the subject sign-in and sign-out process, ensuring proper documentation. Distribute scrubs to subjects and manage scrub inventory. Assist with the distribution of meals to study participants. Support other non-clinical duties as assigned by the operations team. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Key Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately Comfortable handling study participants' personal belongings Physical ability to walk over 200 steps and navigate stairs multiple times per day
