The Associate Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and training of Infor's Smart Series POS (Point of Sale) solutions for clients. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful system rollouts by collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver services on time and within scope. The Associate Consultant will provide both remote and onsite support as needed, assist with project documentation, and contribute to maintaining high client satisfaction during and after deployment.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Coordinate and lead implementation meetings for POS software installations, both remotely and onsite, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and prepared.
  • Provide end-user training and onboarding for software products, adapting delivery to meet audience needs and leveraging adult learning principles.
  • Troubleshoot software issues via phone or in person, resolving problems within scope or escalating appropriately to internal support teams.
  • Coordinate or assist with the deployment of new software applications and version upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Participate in training needs assessments and contribute to the development of standardized training processes and materials.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for both custom and packaged applications to support ongoing knowledge transfer and operational consistency.
  • Deliver training sessions to diverse client groups, tailoring content and delivery to ensure engagement and retention.
  • Travel approximately 75-80% across the U.S. to support client installations, training, and go-live activities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly in the hospitality or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
  • Experience comprehending technically complex system configurations and communicating technical specifications to non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to travel up to 75-80% across the U.S.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving software issues, both remotely and onsite.
  • Prior involvement in software rollouts, field installations, or go-live support.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, routers, connectivity troubleshooting).
  • Experience conducting remote or onsite end-user training sessions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as site surveys, network diagrams, or system architecture.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (e.g., Spanish).
We anticipate paying between $51,500 - $86,000 per year.Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
