MaineHealth Behavioral Healthcare (MHBH) is seeking aChild Psychiatristto lead outpatient clinical care in the Portland, Maine region. The responsibilities of this Child Psychiatrist include working with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide outpatient psychiatric services for children which include Psychiatric evaluation, developing effective, multi-disciplinary treatment plans, psychiatric management & follow-up, individual and a group-based treatment sessions, se of electronic medical record (EPIC)MHBH's outpatient practices provide an array of services for adolescents, and children challenged with mental health, developmental disorders. This individual will be joining a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Training and/or experience in clinical treatment of adults and children

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt to frequent change and fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.

• Current or eligible licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.

• Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence.

• Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.

• Current DEA Registration Certificate.

• 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.

• Meet other credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By-laws
