The Project Coordinator will support the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) by helping to drive the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role will partner closely with Project Managers and the Enterprise Project Management Office Director to coordinate project activities, maintain project visibility, and foster collaboration across teams. The Project Coordinator will actively contribute to project execution by anticipating needs, solving problems, and ensuring alignment to project outcomes. This position offers a pathway for individuals looking to grow into future project management roles within a dynamic and strategic EPMO environment.

Job Details:

  • Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects by coordinating schedules, documenting progress, and following up on key deliverables.

  • Actively track and update project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and action items, contributing recommendations for resolution where appropriate.

  • Prepare and distribute project meeting materials, capture clear and actionable meeting minutes, and proactively drive follow-ups with stakeholders.

  • Assist in the creation of project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries that provide transparent visibility to project health and progress.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring adherence to EPMO standards/governance and contributing to continuous improvement of project management processes.

  • Facilitate smooth communication between project teams, sponsors, and external partners, building positive working relationships across the organization.

  • Monitor resource assignments, project dependencies, and scheduling needs; raise concerns and propose adjustments when potential conflicts arise.

  • Support project intake, prioritization, governance, and reporting processes under the direction of the EPMO Director.

  • Champion a culture of ownership, adaptability, and outcome focus across projects, contributing to the EPMO's mission of delivering value through strategic execution.

  • Continuously develop project management skills and stay informed on industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • 2+ years of project coordination or project support experience, preferably in a formal Project Management Office (PMO) or similar environment.

  • Must be able to obtain government clearance after hire. US Citizenship is required by the US government in order to obtain government clearance.

  • Working knowledge of project management principles (PMI, Agile, hybrid methodologies) and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent initiatives.

  • Proactive problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills; able to anticipate needs, propose solutions, and support project outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and build trust across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SharePoint or project portfolio management systems is a plus.

  • CAPM certification, or demonstrated progress toward PMP or related certifications, is desirable but not required.

  • A mindset of continuous improvement and curiosity about better ways to deliver projects and support teams.

  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate dynamic stakeholder environments.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and change, and ability to maintain calm and focus in a fast-paced project environment.

The starting pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
