General information Name Consulting - Senior Consultant - Healthcare Finance & Strategy - Value Based Care Posting Title Senior Consultant, Healthcare Finance & Strategy - Value Based Care Ref # 2235083 Date Published Friday, June 6, 2025 City Birmingham State Alabama Country United States Job Category Healthcare Consulting Office Healthcare Finance & Strategy (Forvis) Advertised Location US-AL-Birmingham, US-GA-Atlanta, US-IL-Chicago, US-NC-Raleigh, US-OH-Cincinnati, US-SC-Greenville, US-TN-Nashville Working time Full Time Description & Requirements How you will contribute: Guide the vision and direction of healthcare organizations to drive profitability and growth Perform preliminary research and examine existing data related to the issue Recognize, analyze, and recommend solutions while working with various alternative payment models Perform performance assessments to include financial, operational and clinical benchmarks and economic analysis Evaluate strategic recommendations within financial, organizational, and operational frameworks to ensure the feasibility of successful performance in alternative payment models Learn and develop new technical knowledge specific to our consulting practice and the clients we serve across the value-based care practice Work both individually and in a team environment Establish and maintain relationships with the healthcare practitioners in other service lines within the firm to maintain an understanding of all of the firm's service offerings and coordinate practice development efforts accordingly Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to compile and assess large data sets, while identifying potential data concerns or issues Utilize prior experience with the operationalization and analysis of total cost of care/Accountable Care Organization (ACO), episodic, and capitated payment models in the development of client deliverables We are looking for people with Forward Vision and: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, including monitoring project time budgets and consistently meeting or exceeding agreed-upon deadlines The ability to professionally write and communicate deliverables including but not limited to internal meetings and projects High attention to detail as well as strong analytical skills The ability to maintain composure and a friendly professional demeanor while dealing with stressful issues Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a business or healthcare discipline 2 years or more of experience in the healthcare industry Experience advising healthcare providers regarding Medicare alternative payment models Preferred Qualifications: MBA, MHA, MPH, or MPA Experience with Tableau or Power BI Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint #LI-BHAM, #LI-ATL, #LI-OAK, #LI-RAL, #LI-CIN, #LI-GVSC, #LI-NASH #LI-BM1 Illinois Wage Transparency Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non-exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek.
