Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate the economic feasibility of potential food waste valorization strategies. This involves applying TEA and GIS to assess the cost-effectiveness, scalability, and market potential of converting food waste into value-added products. The position will support decision-making by identifying the most promising pathways from both economic and sustainability perspectives, and by highlighting trade-offs between costs and environmental benefits.
