The CNC Case Manager provides support to students in the Bradley Tech Dual Enrollment CNC Program and the on-campus CNC Program at the Oak Creek and Downtown Campuses. This support can span from on campus in class challenges and off campus challenges that may affect a student's performance.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

CHARACTERISTICS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Community Involvement: Identify students and accept referrals of students in need of crisis intervention & emergency assistance
- Evaluate situations
- Counsel students
- Confer with parents, counselors, faculty, administrators and other resource personnel as needed to ensure that each student's needs are met in order to succeed.
- Refer student to internal & external resources, including, but not limited to:
- Financial assistance
- Transportation
- Food assistance
- Housing
- Medical Services
- Long-term counseling
- Communications and Presentations: This person will serve as a liaison communicating directly with CNC faculty, high school counselors (for Bradley Tech High School CNC project, dean of MCT, and Director of Apprenticeship in an effort to keep all parties well-informed. This person will assist in the development of key communications designed to maintain strong connections with partners. This person will have the responsibility of creating presentations/documents to support critical learning and informational needs for the program.
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Make recommendations on quality improvement based on process analysis, including guiding the documentation of action plans and contributing student success and equity insights. Analyze relevant data and records with integrity and with an equity lens to sustain accreditation, licensure and certification as needed. Proactively systemize changes in scope of work, identify risks and devise contingency plans. Review evaluation reports from accreditors and assist faculty with responses as appropriate. Plan and schedule deliverables, goals and milestones for cross-functional teams from each accredited program.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with personnel to coach students in career planning and with the selection of appropriate educational programs. Encourage student participation in the CNC summer courses and other supportive activities. Participate in student service, instructional, and school-wide meetings and committees as required. Coordinate with and facilitate faculty advising system; this individual will work within the classrooms and/or office area.
- Continuous Learning & Professional Development: Maintain current knowledge of best practices and standards in higher education with an emphasis on community Colleges. Actively organize and/or participate in applicable workgroups, committees and professional associations or conferences to promote continuous learning. Participate in trainings and workshops to increase knowledge, awareness, and practice of the College's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Committee Involvement and Engagement: Chair and/or participate in cross-functional committees and organize regular status, review, and debrief meetings among stakeholders.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operations of the division and to support institutional objectives.

Qualifications
-
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirement, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field; (3-5) years of experience in academic advising, counseling, social work or community advocacy services.
Preferred Education & Experience: Master's degree in related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the functions of vocational, technical and adult education in Wisconsin.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to live out the College's core values related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Skilled with a combination of organization and research applications as indicated by experience or education.
- Skilled in continuous quality improvement strategies, data analysis and evaluation, and problem solving strategies.
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully with persons from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and religious backgrounds and with physical or psychological handicaps.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, while possessing a broad understanding of academic topics relevant to higher education.

Supplemental Information
-
Hours This is a part-time, first shift position working no more than 19 hours per work week. This is an in-person role working between the Oak Creek and Downtown MATC campuses and Bradley Tech High School. This is a grant funded, LTE (Limited Term Employment) role. This role is funded through June 30, 2026.
Salary Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is based on the 2023/2024 rates and are determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
