We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Enterprise Integration Platform. The Director will be accountable for the management and governance of the platform, with a strong focus on product ownership. In addition, the Director will partner with business and technology leaders to drive platform adoption, standardization, and integration across the enterprise. This role involves leading a team of administrators, developers, and engineers to ensure the platform's availability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and governance of the Informatica platform.
  • Act as the product owner for the Informatica platform, ensuring it meets business needs and objectives.
  • Drive cloud-native data integration by leveraging Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), IDMC, and data management.
  • Define and oversee enterprise-wide application integration strategies, ensuring seamless interoperability between SaaS, cloud, and on-premise systems.
  • Establish best practices for API development, security, and lifecycle management, ensuring scalability and extensibility.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure API and microservices align with enterprise integration patterns and domain-driven design principles.
  • Drive automation in data integration and API management by leveraging AI-driven metadata management, self-healing pipelines, and real-time observability tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on platform performance and project status.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and Informatica solutions.
  • Manage the platform's budget, resources, and project timelines.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of administrators, developers, and engineers.


Technical Knowledge:

  • Enterprise Integration Expertise: Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide data integration, transformation, and governance initiatives.
  • Data Integration and ETL: Proficiency in data integration techniques, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data migration strategies.
  • Data Management and Governance: Knowledge of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and best practices for ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and how Informatica integrates with these environments.
  • API and Web Services: Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services for integrating Informatica with other enterprise systems.


Leadership and Management Skills:

  • Collaboration: Strong ability to drive alignment between business needs, enterprise architecture, and data integration strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee platform-related projects, manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to align the Informatica platform with business objectives, driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of administrators, developers, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.


Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess platform performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field.
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
  • Experience managing or owning enterprise integration platforms such as Informatica, or equivalent platforms with direct accountability for aligning technology capabilities with business needs
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in enterprise platform support
  • Experience defining or managing API development, integration architecture, or microservices strategy across SaaS, cloud-native, and on-premise applications
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, or data security initiatives, including compliance with regulations


Preferred

  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of Informatica's suite of products, including Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, Informatica MDM, and Informatica Data Quality.
  • Direct experience implementing and optimizing Informatica's suite of products.
  • Experience integrating observability and monitoring tools.


USD 144,900.00 - 241,500.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $144,900.00 - $241,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
