About the Project

PATH is implementing the Johnson & Johnson supported Community Health Worker led activation of vulnerable population in India through delivery of health promotion messaging across 3 states. This initiative aims to empower 20,000 CHWs across the states of Maharashtra and Telangana, to deliver health promotion messaging in their role as community mobilizers, in a way that not only informs but also empowers proactive health management.

Position Summary:

PATH seeks to engage a qualifiedConsultant - MEAL Expertto support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) components of the project. The consultant will be responsible for designing a comprehensive MEAL framework, developing a model to assess the impact of interventions on tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis, and supporting scientific documentation and sustainability planning for government transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a MEAL framework aligned with project objectives, including a model to measure the impact of interventions on TB diagnosis and care.

  • Develop a sustainability plan to facilitate the transition of project activities to government systems.

  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation based on defined key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Provide technical feedback on MEAL tools and methodologies.

  • Support the preparation of scientific documentation, including abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination at national and international platforms.

Education Qualification, Experience and Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health program management, with a strong focus on tuberculosis-related projects.

  • Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and evaluation, including tool development, data analysis, and reporting.

  • Experience in scientific writing and documentation for knowledge sharing and advocacy.

  • Familiarity with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) and public health systems in India is highly desirable.
