POSITION SUMMARY: The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist position requires at least 3 years of pediatric swallowing evaluations via Pediatric Modified Barium Swallows and clinical feeding evaluations and treatments. The Speech-Language Pathologist participates patient evaluation and education for various language, speech, and swallowing disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist plans and implements individual/group speech-language pathology treatments. The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with other disciplines to arrange for appropriate follow-up care and facilitates a successful return to home and work environments. Position: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Department: Center for Voice - Swallowing Schedule: Part Time (24 hrs/wk) JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Requires a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Requires a current license and certification as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ASHA. ASHA membership required.
