*Securian Financial Groups internal position title is Info Security Analyst.This position is eligible to be hired at the Analyst or Senior Analyst level depending on the qualifications and skills of the candidate.

Position Summary:

The Cyber Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management (TIVM) team is part of the Cyber Operations organization within ECS. The team is responsible for Securian's Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management and Security Posture Management functions. Of these functions, the primary focus is to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations, and drive remediation efforts by the application and technology owners responsible for those systems. The secondary focus is on evaluating threat intelligence as it relates to Securian and using that information to prioritize remediation or security activities.

TIVM capabilities support both Cloud and On-Premises environments and touch every aspect of Securian's technology infrastructure. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, technical knowledge, and the ability to identify security risks across a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Monitor and configure Qualys, Prisma Cloud, and other vulnerability identification solutions.
  • Analyze vulnerability and threat intelligence to identify risk to Securian, and to drive escalation activities for emergency remediation.
  • Identify and implement vulnerability management program enhancements.
  • Drive vulnerability owners to complete timely remediation.
  • Perform risk analysis of vulnerabilities and help facilitate the vulnerability exception process.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in technology engineering, application development, or cybersecurity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive to learn and understand cloud security and its related technologies, tools and surrounding integrations.
  • Ability and drive to investigate and objectively identify Security risk.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with ServiceNow.
  • High level knowledge of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, applications, operations, and engineering environments. Examples of which, include;
    • Windows and Linux operating systems.
    • Functional understanding of networking principles.
    • Functional knowledge of mainstream AWS technologies.

#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.**

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$52,500.00 - $97,500.00
