We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality and EHS Manager to oversee both quality assurance and workplace safety across our manufacturing facilities. This dual-role position ensures that products meet high-quality standards while fostering a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment in line with industry regulations and company objectives. For the quality portion of this role, it will have supervision responsibilities of a supervisor, inspectors, and technicians to assist with ensuring quality standards are maintained. For the EHS portion of the role, this individual will set-up and maintain systems that operations and outsourced partners will follow to maintain a safe work environment and meet any OSHA / environmental requirements.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the quality team in ensuring all finished units meet requirements.
  • Work with purchasing on vendor performance evaluations in terms of on time performance, nonconforming material, SCAR's, vendor approval, and vendor audits.
  • Support production with developing and ensuring compliance to in-process checklists, nonconforming material processes, and final inspections.
  • Support the Service Department with customer feedback, field issues, and warranty claim review.
  • Provide support to Sales with the review of customer complaints and corrective action tracking.
  • Support/Encourage our journey towards a continuously improving Safety Culture
  • Ensure compliance to OSHA & EPA regulations
  • Implement risk reduction initiatives and programs to minimize/eliminate worker injuries
  • Utilize safety data software to track injuries, near misses, safety audits, and corrective actions
  • Maintain and manage the safety budget for the KT Pacer facilities
  • Lead and mentor the safety committee to improve the overall safety culture at the KT Pacer facilities
  • Evaluate current waste streams, energy usage, and water consumption to develop plans to reduce the company's environmental footprint
  • Review capital project requests from a safety perspective and provide guidance/recommendations accordingly
  • All other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications and Experience Levels:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality management experience preferred
  • Experience in safety leadership through direct EHS roles or applicable manufacturing experience
  • OSHA 10 hour or OSHA 30-hour training certification preferred
  • Understanding and knowledge of manufacturing and associated safety regulations and programs a plus: Welding, Flammable Materials, Painting, Overhead Crane Operation, Mobile Equipment Operation, Metal Fabrication, Fall Protection, and Respiratory Protection
  • Current First Aid/CPR training preferred
  • Strong oral and written skills. Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people
  • Strong understanding of MS office suite to include Word, Excel and Power Point
