Position Highlights	The Tigreros lab in the Department of Entomology at the University of Arizona is currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate I to lead research projects in ecological physiology and nutritional ecology in Pieris rapae butterflies. Stressful conditions, -including extreme climate and the shortage of food- can heighten resource allocation tradeoffs between competing traits, like growth vs. flight vs. fecundity. Duties & Responsibilities	Plan and lead experiments. Acquire and analyze data. Supervise and mentor undergraduate students. Prepare and submit peer-reviewed journal articles and present their work at professional conferences. Depending on their interests and expertise, they will also be encouraged to expand the project. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Expertise in animal physiology and/or organism ecology. Excellent speaking and written English language skills
Minimum Qualifications	Upon hire, a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field including, but not limited to ecophysiology, evolutionary ecology, behavioral ecology. Proven record of publications.
Preferred Qualifications	Experience in ecophysiology and plant-insect interactions.
