Description
As a Mechanical Designer, you will provide on-site engineering and support, collaborating with a team of engineers and designers with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. This is an exciting opportunity to gain engineering design experience and advance your knowledge in plumbing, fire protection and HVAC design. Conduct design review and commissioning services for plumbing, fire sprinkler, and HVAC systems. Duties include review of designs and submittals; verification of as-built and redline drawings; construction surveys and inspections; development and partial witnessing of pre-functional checklists; and development and executing functional performance tests. Qualifications
1-3 years' experience to include the design of plumbing, fire sprinkler, and HVAC systems. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may periodically include nights and weekends and overtime may be requested as determined by the needs of the department. Travel: Frequent local travel expected for this position.
