Front Desk Admin - Novi, MI (On-site) Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Front Desk Admin for our Novi, MI office. This is an On-site position. Job Responsibilities
The Front Desk Admin will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the Novi, MI office and will play a key role in administrative support, office coordination, and communication within the office. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
What You'll Do * Greet and assist all office visitors, vendors, and guests professionally and courteously. * Answer and route incoming calls, taking messages as needed. * Manage general office email inbox and handle inquiries or direct them appropriately. * Maintain front desk and common office areas, including conference rooms and supply stations. * Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and packages, including courier services. * Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, file management, and document formatting. * Order and manage office supplies inventory. * Schedule and support onsite meetings, including catering and logistics. * Support new hire onboarding with desk setup, welcome coordination, and facility orientation. * Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols, including visitor check-in and badge management.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. * 2+ years of experience in administrative, front office, or customer-facing roles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks. * Reliable, punctual, and professional in both appearance and conduct. * Experience with phone systems and basic office equipment (copiers, printers) a plus.
Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position based in a professional office environment in Novi, MI. * Standard office hours with occasional flexibility as needed. * Frequent use of office equipment including computers, phones, and printers. * Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods. * Occasional lifting of office supplies or packages up to 20 pounds. * Office is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled.
