Staffmark is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Concrete Superintendent to join our client's team in a direct hire role. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership position responsible for overseeing the construction of water towers and other large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Pay: Starting at $25/hour (higher rates available depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime/extended hours may be required during project peaks)

Travel Required: Extensive regional travel to job sites; lodging and per diem provided

As a Civil Concrete Superintendent, you will be the on-site field manager and key company representative, traveling to project locations across the region. Your role is critical in delivering safe, high-quality, and on-time execution of concrete construction for major infrastructure builds. You'll manage crews, oversee materials and scheduling, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the lead on-site supervisor for water tower construction and other civil concrete projects
  • Interpret and implement civil engineering drawings and project plans
  • Oversee concrete forming, pouring, curing, and finishing operations
  • Manage jobsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and professionalism
  • Coordinate delivery and placement of materials and equipment
  • Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and safety regulations
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and clients
  • Act as a company ambassador, upholding high standards of quality and integrity at all times



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of civil or concrete construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and civil drawings
  • Hands-on knowledge of formwork systems, concrete mixes, and pour sequencing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments and at heights
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required by the project
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
