Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of tools, systems, and processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to technology solutions, and assist in ensuring system stability and quality. This is an ideal position for someone with foundational business and technical knowledge who is looking to grow in the field of systems analysis and solution delivery. ---Key Responsibilities:*

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

* Assist in identifying solutions to improve operational efficiency and resolve system-related issues.

* Analyze data to identify trends, support business decisions, and optimize workflows.* Participate in the development, execution, and documentation of test plans and test cases, including user acceptance testing (UAT).

* Work with QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of new systems and enhancements.

* Provide production support by helping to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating when needed.

* Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.

* Support the tracking of project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.

* Contribute to the development of process documentation, training materials, and end-user support resources.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA analysts, and support engineers. ---Required Qualifications:*

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Basic understanding of business process modeling, data flow, and system design.

* Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, UAT).

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Exposure to tools such as Excel, SQL, JIRA, or other business analysis or testing platforms is a plus.* Interest in or knowledge of health insurance industry is preferred.
