Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a CRM Developer to join the Information Technology department in a teleworking arrangement. Reporting to the Director of CRM Systems, the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Developer is responsible for developing solutions on the Salesforce platform, which is the foundation of the University's Customer/Constituent Relationship Management system. The CRM Developer shares in the responsibility of supporting the University's Salesforce environment both operationally and through new projects. The CRM Developer will work closely with Enrollment Management, Student Retention, Corporate Relations, and Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement to provide technology solutions that better enable them to meet their strategic and operational goals. The CRM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that support the University's mission-critical operations. This role collaborates closely with other IT Professionals and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance platform functionality, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency. The CRM Developer ensures all solutions adhere to best practices in development, security, and scalability while aligning with the University's strategic objectives. This position requires a strong technical foundation in Salesforce development, the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and performance of the University's CRM ecosystem. The CRM Developer leverages expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs, to design, develop, and deploy custom solutions that meet the University's business needs. A strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security features is essential to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security features. Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools. Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules). Experience with web development and design languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, as it relates to Salesforce development. |
