Work Schedule:

80% FTE, 32 Hours per week. Shifts scheduled from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 4 weekdays per week. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.

We are seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Clinical Speech Language Pathologist to:



  • Provide consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex pediatric patients (infant to adolescent) in an outpatient setting in the domains of swallow, speech, language and cognition.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based patient and family treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care as part of a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
  • Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others.

Education:

Minimum - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders

Work Experience:

Minimum -



  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
  • Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech, language, cognition, voice, airway, resonance, or swallow therapy)


Preferred -



  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Seven (7) or more years of clinical experience post Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
  • Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech, language, cognition, voice, airway, resonance, or swallow therapy)
  • Experience supervising a learner.



Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -



  • WI Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire


Preferred - Board Certification in Area of Specialty if available (e.g. BCSS for swallow subspecialty)
