Associate Project Manager

Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area or Denver, CO)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented?Associate Project Manager?to support the planning and execution of key projects across cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Support & Coordination

• Assist in managing one or more projects, supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

  Help define project scope and objectives in collaboration with senior project managers and stakeholders.

  Track project milestones and ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with Capital Rx's agile framework.

  
  

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• 
  

  Work closely with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams (sales, operations, compliance, product, scrum teams) to identify project needs.

  
  
• 
  

  Communicate regularly with product managers and scrum teams to support roadmap tracking and task accountability.

  
  
• 
  

  Support coordination of meetings, follow-ups, and action items across teams.

  
  

Communication & Risk Awareness

• 
  

  Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders through status updates and meeting participation.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist in identifying and tracking project risks, and support the preparation of mitigation plans for review by senior leadership.

  
  
• 
  

  Help prepare and present project updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

  
  

Tools & Process Support

• 
  

  Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track tasks and progress.

  
  
• 
  

  Ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards under the guidance of senior project managers.

  
  
• 
  

  Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.

  
  
• 
  

  Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

  1-2 years of experience supporting projects in a cross-functional environment.

  Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

  Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).

  Interest in agile methodologies and compliance-driven environments.

  A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

  Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  1-2 years of experience in a project coordination or junior project management role.

  Experience in healthcare, PBM, or health tech environments is a plus.

  
  
• 
  

  PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.

Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals.
