Overview

AMD-EMDS Market Data Service applications are at the core of Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) trading, these applications are responsible for storage, retrieval and generation of high frequency Analytical Market Data for Intraday and End of Day (EOD). These are used across organization by FIC traders and multiple trading applications across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Region Asia Pacific (APAC) and US regions on daily basis. As a Senior developer in our team, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver them to final implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Define the architecture and high-level design of the application in collaboration with Business Analysts

  • Build java applications to meet functional and non-functional requirements

  • Implement multiple solutions to ensure correctness (including unit and integration tests)

  • Value code quality and best practices of software engineering

  • Support release deployments into controlled environments

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities with a constant focus on delivery

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, RESTful services and Python with build tools Maven/gradle and continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) tools Teamcity/Jenkins/Udeploy

  • Experience with Test Driven Development

  • Experience with Messaging technologies like KAFKA/ Message Queue (MQ)

  • Experience working in Agile methodology

  • Experience with Global Control Programme (GCP), GKE technologies including Terraform for infrastructure building

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Self-driven who can own projects from start to finish

  • Work well with product owners to build fit for purpose solutions

  • Strong communication skills to communicate efficiently with business, engineering and infrastructure teams for end-to-end delivery

  • Possess effective prioritization skills

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
