Itron is seeking a Contract Supply Chain Analyst to bring specialized expertise to drive company goals and address complex challenges, including inventory control, planning, logistics, manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production. This role leads situations requiring specialized experience, proactively anticipating, resolving, and collaborating on complex issues that impact multiple teams, medium-term goals, operational decisions, and tactical activities. Top talent will demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in establishing work objectives. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support supply chain decision-making using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to drive data-driven supply chain strategies.
  • Use predictive analytics and modeling techniques to improve demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or system enhancements to improve supply chain workflows.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across supply chain systems and reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain analytics.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
  • Advanced degree (Master's) in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Progressive experience in supply chain analytics, with a demonstrated track record of driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or high-volume production environments, especially within the utilities, energy, or technology sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with integrated ERP and supply chain systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud SCM, or Kinaxis RapidResponse.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement predictive modeling, machine learning, or statistical forecasting techniques to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Experience designing and deploying automated supply chain dashboards for executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority across technical and business teams.
This role can be located in West Union, South Carolina or Austin, Texas
